Placements24 is seeking a seasoned Catering Operations Manager to lead comprehensive catering services in Kimberley. This hybrid role covers efficiency, profitability, menu development, procurement, staff management, and client relations, with on-site oversight of events.

The role drives operational excellence, manages budgets and suppliers, mentors culinary and service teams, and ensures health and safety compliance while building lasting client partnerships.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in Catering Operations Management or a similar senior role.
• Proven expertise in P&L management, budgeting, and cost control.
• Strong leadership and team-building capabilities.
• In-depth knowledge of culinary trends, food safety standards, and event logistics.
• Experience managing operations in a hybrid work setting, balancing remote strategy with on-site oversight.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to thrive under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all aspects of catering operations, from initial client consultation through to event execution and follow-up.
• Develop and implement operational strategies to enhance service quality, efficiency, and profitability.
• Manage budgets, control costs, and optimize resource allocation for all catering activities.
• Lead, train, and mentor a diverse team of culinary and service staff to achieve performance goals.
• Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and sanitation regulations within the catering environment.
