Job summary

Dis-Chem Pharmacies is seeking a Casual Cashier for the Table View store to support customer service at the point of sale and ensure a world-class shopping experience. You will record transactions on the Dis-Chem system with accuracy and follow SOPs to minimize fraud risk.

Requirements include Grade 12, at least 6 months cashier/till experience, computer literacy (MS Office), strong English, and the ability to work retail hours.

Qualifications

• At least 6 months cashier/till experience.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to customer service policies and procedures.
• Establish a professional relationship with customers.
• Report customer feedback to Frontline Supervisor or store management.
• Adhere to the customer turnover hourly rate.
• Be aware of current sales and promotions.
• Ensure cash handling is secure and accurate.
• Follow Dis-Chem security policies and SOPs.
• Process payments (cash, bank cards, vouchers, coupons, etc.).
• Process loyalty cards for partners as applicable.
• Ensure till and cash flow are properly managed.
