Job summary

Tiger Brands Ltd. in South Africa is seeking a Stock Controller to manage the receipt, storage and issuing of packaging materials to support production.

You will maintain accurate inventory records and ensure stock availability across production lines. The role involves receiving and inspecting packaging materials, conducting stock counts, investigating variances, and ensuring FIFO rotation, good housekeeping, safety and quality standards.

• Manage the receipt, storage, and issuing of packaging materials to support production while maintaining accurate inventory records and stock availability.
• Receive and inspect packaging materials.
• Maintain accurate stock records and inventory transactions.
• Issue packaging materials to production as required.
• Conduct stock counts and investigate variances.
• Monitor stock levels and coordinate replenishment.
• Ensure FIFO stock rotation and proper storage practices.
• Maintain housekeeping, safety, and quality standards.
• Prepare inventory and stock movement reports.
