Job summary

Qualifications

• Matric or equivalent, certification not required.

Responsibilities

• Accept payments, ensure prices and quantities are accurate, and provide receipts to every customer.
• Operate scanners, scales, cash registers and other electronics as required.
• Keep reports of transactions up to date and accurate.
• Greet customers, assist with finding items and offer advice or recommendations.
• Resolve customer complaints efficiently and effectively.
• Greet customers entering or leaving the store and maintain a tidy checkout area.
