Job summary

Direct Hire in Bloemfontein is seeking a cash-handling professional to receive deposits, prepare cash, and ensure compliance with policies and bank SLAs. You will process deposits, verify containers, and maintain accurate records throughout the shift.

The role includes daily balancing, reconciliation of deposits, and adherence to SOPs, with responsibilities spanning desktop deposits, coin handling, bank system integration, and governance tasks to support secure cash operations.

Qualifications

• Must have Grade 12 with Math's/Literacy.
• Experience with cash handling and deposits is preferred.
• Ability to balance cash and maintain accurate records.

Responsibilities

• Receive deposits and update systems.
• Prepare cash and verify containers for counting.
• Sort and balance notes and coins; balance daily with Team Controller.
• Perform reconciliations and report differences promptly.
• Process desktop deposits and ensure same-day processing.
• Handle bank system integrations and ensure accuracy of deposits.
• Adhere to SOPs and policies to mitigate risk.
• Participate in governance and quality standards.
