Job summary

IZI South Africa in George seeks a Cash Centre Supervisor to manage Cash Processing Tellers and ensure adherence to policy and procedures. The role requires strong numeracy, leadership, and a proactive approach to maintaining security and accuracy.

The successful candidate will have Grade 12 with mathematics or accounting and 3–5 years’ supervisory cash centre experience, plus solid communication and computer literacy. Weekend availability may be required.

• Grade 12 with mathematics or accounting
• 3–5 years relevant Cash Centre Supervisor experience
• Sound understanding of financial principles/information

Responsibilities

• Supervise Cash Processing Centre operations and ensure policy compliance
• Distribute work to prevent bottlenecks and manage end-to-end workflow
• Maintain records and complete daily reconciliations
• Oversee risk controls and loss prevention measures
• Ensure SARB minimum standards and company safety procedures are followed
• Manage staff rostering and conduct regular team meetings
• Coach and develop staff and monitor performance
• Address customer queries and ensure accurate cash transactions
