Job summary

Placements24 is seeking an experienced Property Portfolio Manager to oversee a diverse residential and commercial portfolio in Cape Town. You will maximize value, ensure tenant satisfaction, and manage leasing, rent collection, and maintenance from our Cape Town office.

The role requires strong budgeting skills, knowledge of SA landlord-tenant laws, and excellent communication to liaise with owners, tenants, and service providers. On-site work at the Cape Town office is expected.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years in property or portfolio management.
• Solid knowledge of SA landlord-tenant laws and regulations.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• Experience with budgeting and financial reporting.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day property portfolio operations including leasing, rent collection, and maintenance.
• Conduct regular property inspections and ensure lease compliance.
• Develop budgets for each property and monitor expenses.
• Source, vet, and negotiate with tenants; manage tenancy relations.
• Coordinate with contractors to ensure timely repairs and cost efficiency.
• Prepare performance reports detailing financial status for owners in Cape Town.
