Job summary

Surgo (Pty) Ltd is seeking a Project Manager for our Cape Town office on Kloof Street. You will report to the Project Delivery Lead and oversee the successful delivery of projects and ad-hoc consultancy engagements for clients.

You will work with sales, finance, project coordinators, engineers, consultants, developers, and architects to ensure objectives are met. Expect virtual meetings and occasional customer support as needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years' experience delivering projects.
• Experience delivering software implementation projects.
• Confident communicating with C-Level executives and stakeholders.
• Strong commercial awareness and change management experience.
• Ability to analyze problems and propose resolutions.
• Strong recording, tracking and reporting of tasks and progress.

Responsibilities

• End-to-end management of the project lifecycle from initiation to closure.
• Be the principal client contact on all project matters.
• Report on progress, risks, issues and changes; escalate when needed.
• Manage project resources, budget and schedule.
• Maintain project documentation including risk, change and action logs.
• Ensure quality of project deliverables and perform quality checks.
• Contribute to management-level reporting for the COO and leadership.
• Liaise with sub-contractors and third parties involved in projects.
• Maintain the ConnectWise project management system and time tracking.
• Coordinate with Finance to confirm invoicing and delivery dates, ensuring timely invoicing.
• Collaborate with Technical teams on statements of work.
