Job summary

The Legends Agency in Cape Town seeks an Internal Operations Coordinator & HR to take charge of day-to-day operations, dispatch, rentals and HR administration in a fast-moving manufacturing environment. You will own scheduling, payroll inputs, recruitment, and compliance with Labour Relations Act.

Ideal candidates have 4+ years in operations coordination or logistics, 2+ years in SA HR admin, and hands-on experience with Google Workspace and task management tools. Afrikaans is a plus.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in operations coordination, logistics, or office management in a fast-moving environment.
• 2+ years running HR administration in a South African business.
• Hands-on experience scheduling deliveries, drivers, teams, or installations.

Responsibilities

• Own the master operations calendar to schedule deliveries, collections, installations, rentals, driver and vehicle use, and staff availability.
• Run hands-on dispatch operations using pre-dispatch checklists and ensure payment clearance from Finance before dispatch.
• Quote, invoice, and manage the calendar for rentals, inspect returned assets, log conditions, and schedule repairs.
• Serve as the hub for internal communication, tracking tasks, maintaining an issues log, and running daily morning check-in meetings.
• Coordinate recruitment, onboarding, and disciplinary processes in alignment with Labour Relations Act and company code.
• Manage vehicle licensing, equipment service bookings, and statutory compliance including UIF, COIDA, and health and safety requirements.
