Placements24 is seeking a Lead Sanitation Operations Manager for our hospitality client in Cape Town, Western Cape. You will oversee sanitation across multiple properties, developing robust hygiene protocols and leading on-site teams to maintain the highest cleanliness and infection control standards.

The role is hybrid, with on-site leadership and strategic planning, requiring travel between Cape Town sites.

Qualifications

• Proven leadership experience in sanitation within hospitality or related services.
• Experience designing and implementing sanitation programs and training.
• Strong knowledge of cleaning chemicals, equipment and best practices.
• Understanding of health, safety and hygiene regulations in the Western Cape.

Responsabilités

• Develop, implement and manage comprehensive sanitation policies for all Cape Town locations.
• Lead, train and mentor sanitation teams to foster excellence.
• Conduct site inspections and audits to ensure hygiene and safety compliance.
• Manage inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment and ensure proper storage.
• Investigate and resolve sanitation-related issues and complaints promptly.
• Collaborate with Food & Beverage and Housekeeping to ensure integrated hygiene practices.
• Monitor sanitation performance metrics and implement corrective actions.
• Stay updated on sanitation technologies and regulatory changes in hospitality.
• Develop and manage the sanitation budget for cost-effectiveness without compromising quality.
• Prepare detailed reports on sanitation performance for senior management.
