Placements24 is seeking an organized and experienced Food Service Supervisor to oversee daily operations of a bustling Randburg cafeteria. You will lead a team of food service workers, ensuring quality, safety, and customer service in a high-volume setting.

Responsibilities include supervising staff, managing inventory and food costs, enforcing sanitation standards, training new employees, and addressing customer feedback to maintain a positive dining experience.

Qualifications

• Experience in a supervisory role within food service or catering.
• Strong knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and inventory management.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work under pressure.
• Food handler's certification or equivalent is required.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate activities of food service staff, including scheduling and task assignment.
• Ensure the timely and accurate preparation and serving of all menu items according to established standards.
• Monitor and enforce food safety, sanitation, and hygiene regulations within the cafeteria.
• Manage inventory, order supplies, and control food costs to ensure operational efficiency.
• Assist in training new staff members and provide ongoing guidance and support to the team.
• Address customer feedback and resolve any service-related issues promptly and professionally.
