Job summary

Communicate Recruitment in Cape Town is seeking a Newly Qualified CA(SA) to support month-end accounting, prepare balance sheet reconciliations and process journals, accruals and intercompany transactions. You will contribute to reporting accuracy in a high-volume, deadline-driven finance team.

You should have strong Excel skills, analytical thinking and attention to detail. Exposure to inventory, FMCG or manufacturing environments and ERP systems is advantageous, with a commercial hands-on

Qualifications

• CA(SA) qualification required; Big 4 or reputable mid-tier/smaller audit firm experience advantageous
• Experience with month-end accounting and reporting
• Strong Excel and data analysis skills

Responsibilities

• Assist with month-end accounting processes and reporting
• Prepare and maintain balance sheet reconciliations
• Process journals, accruals and intercompany transactions
• Perform bank, creditor and supplier reconciliations
• Support inventory and stock-related accounting activities
• Assist with VAT and statutory compliance requirements
• Analyse financial data and investigate variances
