Job summary

Communicate Finance in Cape Town seeks a CA(SA) or eligible professional to manage supplier accounts, reconciliations and payments, and support month-end reporting. You will assist with forex activities, accruals, and balance sheet reconciliations, while driving process improvements across manufacturing cost reporting.

With a focus on accuracy, you will collaborate with operational teams, support budgeting and audits, and help optimise cash flow and working capital.

Qualifications

• Newly Qualified CA(SA) or eligible for registration.
• Immediate availability/ Short notice period.
• Cape Town based (no relocations).

Responsibilities

• Managing supplier accounts, reconciliations, and payment processes.
• Assisting with foreign supplier transactions and foreign exchange activities.
• Preparing monthly accruals and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Supporting stock costing, inventory reconciliations, and goods-in-transit reporting.
• Analysing manufacturing costs and identifying opportunities for efficiency improvements.
• Contributing to cash flow forecasting and working capital management.
• Preparing journals and assisting with month-end reporting processes.
• Supporting budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities.
• Assisting with annual audit requirements and year-end financial processes.
• Working closely with operational teams to ensure accurate financial reporting.
• Driving process improvements and leveraging technology to enhance reporting accuracy.
