OneDayOnly Offers (Pty) Ltd. is seeking a Buyer Support role to ensure daily deals go live accurately, signed off on time, and backed by solid data. The role involves supplier comparisons, sample coordination, and close collaboration with multiple teams to protect margins and drive on-time launches.

Recent graduates are welcome; strong Excel/Sheets skills and attention to detail are essential. This trainee-level position offers exposure to direct imports, pricing decisions, and retailer dynamics

Qualifications

• A relevant tertiary qualification in one of the listed fields.
• Recent graduates welcome; no prior work required.
• Strong commercial acumen: margin, costs and pricing.
• Excellent spreadsheet and data compilation skills.
• Detail-oriented, highly organised and deadline-driven.
• Great communication and collaboration with suppliers.

Responsabilités

• Prepare prelims for Buyers: gather supplier data and load deals onto backend.
• Check commercial viability: margin, landed costs, stock risk, sign-off.
• Keep deal data updated across ASANA, Google Sheets, and Drive; save screenshots.
• Own end-to-end sample process: request samples, test quality, coordinate photography.
• Coordinate with FX and Sourcing to track shipping timelines and approvals.
• Run daily market sweeps and in-store visits to spot opportunities.
• Monitor live deal performance and assist with replenishment.
• Ensure deals are loaded and signed off before cut-offs; ensure cover images reach Design.
• Review monthly returns and implement feedback.
• Provide admin support: calendars, meetings, emails.
• Assist with range showings and post-mortems.
• Shadow Buyers to learn processes affecting margin and customer experience.
