OneDayOnly is seeking a Junior Legal Advisor to join our in-house team in South Africa. You’ll support drafting, reviewing, and negotiating commercial contracts for the ODO group, ensuring regulatory compliance and practical guidance for the business.

You’ll work alongside our Legal Advisor, transform complex legal language into clear, actionable advice, and help maintain templates, policies, and corporate governance activities while learning the business and growing your skills in a fast-paced

Qualifications

• LLB, admitted attorney in South Africa and up to 1 year post-articles.
• Experience in corporate and commercial law, especially drafting/review.
• E‑commerce experience advantageous.
• Strong research, writing and communication skills.
• Able to learn quickly, work independently and with a team.
• Solid knowledge of South African law.

Responsibilities

• Draft, review and negotiate commercial contracts for the ODO group.
• Support the Legal Advisor with legal, regulatory and compliance matters.
• Conduct legal research and prepare clear, practical advice.
• Update and maintain template documents and company policies.
• Support dispute resolution and general litigation matters.
• Monitor new legal and compliance developments affecting the group.
• Assist with the contract management system.
• Build relationships with internal stakeholders.
• Provide general research and administrative support to the legal team.
