Job summary

Humankind Group is seeking an experienced Business Systems Analyst to join a dynamic product and technology environment in a hybrid capacity. You will bridge business stakeholders and technical teams, documenting requirements and ensuring solutions align with objectives.

Responsibilities span discovery, design and implementation, with focus on eliciting clear requirements, translating them into functional specs, and validating delivery quality in QA/UAT. Payments domain exposure is advantageous.

Qualifications

• 6-7 years experience in a hybrid Business/System Analyst role or similar.
• Strong knowledge of requirements gathering, documentation and analysis techniques.
• Ability to work effectively across both business and technical environments.
• Familiarity with system integration concepts, APIs and/or data mapping.
• Experience working within Agile and/or iterative delivery environments.
• Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
• Proficiency with tools such as Jira, Confluence, Excel and Basic SQL.

• Elicit and document clear and concise business requirements.
• Facilitate stakeholder workshops, interviews and discovery sessions.
• Translate business requirements into functional specifications and user stories with clear acceptance criteria.
• Prioritise features and requirements with Product Owners and stakeholders.
• Translate functional requirements into technical documentation and work closely with Architecture and Development teams.
• Assess the impact of proposed changes to existing systems and processes.
• Collaborate with Product Owners, Solution Architects, Developers and QA teams.
• Contribute to system design reviews and User Acceptance Testing planning.
• Document and analyse current as-is business processes.
• Design to-be workflows that improve efficiency, compliance and customer experience.
• Identify opportunities for automation and system integration.
• Support QA and UAT by validating delivered functionality meets business expectations.
• Assist with root-cause analysis of defects and system issues.
• Maintain alignment between business objectives, requirements and solution design throughout delivery.
• Advantageous experience in workflow automation, ERP/CRM platforms, data flows and relational databases, product/UX collaboration, payments domain.

You will be responsible for understanding, documenting and communicating requirements while ensuring that proposed solutions align with business objectives and technical considerations.
