Job summary

AES Global in Cape Town is seeking a Business Support Analyst to join its global trade-support team, assisting the order management system, trading platforms and other front-office applications.

You will be the first point of contact for the business, triaging, prioritising and resolving incidents and requests across the trade lifecycle, working with middle- and front-office users. Occasional after-hours support may be required to maintain service levels.

Qualifications

• CRIMS or other order management system experience.
• 3+ years exposure to trade lifecycle and front-office users.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Genuine interest in technology and finance, plus customer service mindset.

Responsibilities

• Provide first point of contact to restore incidents and service requests.
• Assess, prioritise, triage and escalate issues as needed.
• Communicate clearly with users; escalate to management when appropriate.
• Maintain positive support experience through deep problem understanding.
• Assist management with reporting and audits.

We’re working with an established investment management firm, and they’re looking for a Business Support Analyst to join their global trade-support team, supporting the order management system, trading platforms and other front-office applications.

You’ll be a first point of contact for the business — triaging, prioritising and resolving incidents and requests across the trade lifecycle (implementation, execution and settlement), working with middle- and front-office users.

• Communicate clearly with users, escalating to senior management and stakeholders where needed
• Maintain a positive support experience through deep problem understanding and timely resolution

What you’ll bring

• Charles River IMS (CRIMS) experience, or another order management system
• At least 3 years’ exposure to the trade lifecycle / supporting front-office users (trading, operations, portfolio management)
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills
• A genuine interest in technology and finance, and strong customer service
