Job summary

A leading organisation is seeking a Business Analyst with strong experience in Global Markets to join their team on a 6-12 month contract. You will work closely with various stakeholders to deliver technology and business solutions that enhance efficiency and compliance. The ideal candidate has at least 5 years of experience in Investment Banking and strong analytical skills.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years’ experience as a Business Analyst within Global Markets / Investment Banking.
• Strong understanding of front-to-back trade lifecycle and financial products.
• Proven experience working on system implementations, process improvement, or digital transformation projects.

You will work closely with stakeholders across front, middle, and back-office teams to deliver technology and business solutions that enhance efficiency, compliance, and profitability.

Key Responsibilities

• Partner with Global Markets business units to understand strategic goals and translate them into clear business and functional requirements.
• Analyse, document, and optimise trading and post-trade workflows (FX, Fixed Income, Equities, Derivatives, or Commodities).
• Support system enhancements and integrations across risk, pricing, and trading platforms.
• Collaborate with technology teams to deliver data-driven insights and automation solutions.
• Conduct impact assessments, data analysis, and user acceptance testing (UAT) for new system releases or regulatory initiatives.
• Prepare detailed documentation including BRDs, process maps, and business cases.
• Ensure alignment with compliance, risk, and regulatory requirements in all project deliverables.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Economics, Computer Science, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience as a Business Analyst within Global Markets / Investment Banking.
• Strong understanding of front-to-back trade lifecycle and financial products (FX, Bonds, Derivatives, Money Markets, etc.).
• Proven experience working on system implementations, process improvement, or digital transformation projects.
• Solid analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
• Advanced Excel, SQL, and/or BI tools experience advantageous.
