What Will You Do?

Key Responsibility:

Executive, Commercial & Business Support

• Work closely with the CEO as an extension of the executive, quickly understanding business priorities and proactively helping to drive actions and outcomes.
• Gain broad exposure across the business, supporting the CEO with strategic, commercial and operational priorities and initiatives.
• Assist in managing the status of strategic activities across the business, maintaining action lists, following up with relevant stakeholders and ensuring priorities continue to move forward.
• Assist with the compilation, analysis and presentation of relevant sales and operational reports and business information.
• Conduct research, gather information and help turn business requirements or ideas into clear presentations, analysis and actionable next steps.
• Use Excel, PowerPoint and AI tools such as ChatGPT, Microsoft Copilot and Claude to improve productivity, analysis, communication and ways of working.
• Think ahead, identify what may be required next and take ownership of activities with minimal direction.

Executive Assistant Support

• Manage the CEO’s diary, meetings and time effectively, including scheduling, agendas, minutes and follow-up actions.
• Act as a point of contact between the CEO, executives, employees, clients and external stakeholders, managing enquiries and the flow of information.
• Coordinate travel, accommodation, visas and event requirements as needed.
• Maintain filing and database systems and provide general executive and administrative support.

Who Do You Need to Be?

• B Com or equivalent degree preferred
• Bright, commercially minded and a fast learner with the ability to quickly understand business context and priorities.
• Highly proactive and self-driven, with the ability to think independently, connect the dots and anticipate next steps.
• Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills.
• Strong practical experience using AI tools such as ChatGPT, Microsoft Copilot and/or Claude.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication and organisational skills with excellent attention to detail.
• Comfortable operating in a fast-paced environment, taking ownership and working with minimal direction.
• Confident engaging with executives, employees, clients and external stakeholders.
• Exposure to sales, marketing, strategy, commercial or consulting environments would be advantageous.
• A relevant tertiary qualification, particularly a BCom or related business degree, would be advantageous.
• Ambitious and interested in gaining broad business exposure and developing into wider commercial, strategic or business opportunities over time.
