Job summary

Old Mutual Limited seeks a seasoned BI Business Analyst to join the Group Finance Enablement team in a hybrid role. You will shape data governance, build Power BI dashboards, and translate complex data into clear insights for stakeholders.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in BI/BA with warehousing and Power BI experience, plus a degree in Information Systems or related field, and familiarity with DAMA/DCAM/Kimball methodologies.

Qualifications

• Experience: 5+ years in BI/BA with warehousing and Power BI.
• Qualifications: Degree or Postgraduate in Information Systems or related field.
• Technologies: SQL, Power BI, Data Warehousing, Tabular cubes, MDS, DAX, AWS, data lake, JSON.
• Advantageous: Oracle ERP/EPM; BI experience in HR, actuarial or financial reporting.

Responsibilities

• Build trusted relationships with stakeholders and gather/report requirements.
• Design data models, data flows, and data governance artefacts.
• Create Power BI reports/dashboards and validate outputs.
• Mentor junior team members and present progress updates to stakeholders.
• Collaborate with technical teams and support development/testing.

By understanding and using data, solutions are designed and built to assist stakeholders with producing reports and dashboards that will enable informed business decisions.
