Job summary

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in business architecture or analysis, strong stakeholder management, and Agile delivery experience.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Analyze and design business processes, functions, and structures to identify improvements.

Job description

Our client is seeking an experienced Business Architect to support a strategic cloud transformation initiative. The successful candidate will work closely with business and technology stakeholders to align business strategy, capabilities, processes, and operating models with the organisation's cloud transformation objectives.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyzing and designing business processes, functions, and structures. This includes identifying areas for improvement, defining target operating models
• Enterprise Business Analysis - Interpret the business need and identify solution recommendations to business problems at a business unit level. Lead the improvement efforts to be made that are within span of control at this level.
• Business Process/Model Rethink - Lead the design and execution of methodologies such as strategy decoding, market and industry research, and process mapping for purposes of analysing the business model or its components and identifying opportunities for innovation.
• Information and Business Advice - Provide specialist advice on the interpretation and application of policies and procedures, resolving complex or contentious queries and issues and enabling others to take appropriate actions.
• Data Collection and Analysis - Use data from a wide range of sources to analyze key themes and identify possible impacts on the business.
• Analysis of "As Is" and "To Be" - Document "as is" and "to be" processes and describe the changes required to migrate to the "to be" capability to record accurately the change required.
• Business Case - Carry out feasibility and assessment work for proposed and current projects to contribute to the development and continuous review of business cases.
• Business Requirements Identification - Support collection of business requirements using a variety of methods, such as interviews, document analysis, and workflow analysis, to express requirements clearly and succinctly

Requirements

• Relevant tertiary qualification in Business, Information Systems, or a related field.
• 5+ years' experience in Business Architecture, Business Analysis, or a similar role.
• Experience working on business transformation or cloud-related initiatives.
• Strong stakeholder management, facilitation, and communication skills.
• Experience working in Agile delivery environments.
