Job summary

Rhodes University seeks an experienced Business Architect to support a cloud transformation initiative, aligning strategy, capabilities, processes, and operating models with transformation objectives. The role collaborates with business and technology stakeholders and drives enterprise analysis and operating model design for the programme.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in business architecture or analysis, strong stakeholder management, and Agile delivery experience.

Qualifications

5+ years of experience in Business Architecture, Business Analysis, or a similar role.
Experience on business transformation or cloud-related initiatives.
Strong stakeholder management, facilitation, and communication skills.
Experience working in Agile delivery environments.

Responsibilities

Analyze and design business processes, functions, and structures to identify improvements.
Interpret business needs and identify solution recommendations at unit level.
Lead design and execution of strategy decoding, market research, and process mapping.
Provide specialist advice on policies and procedures, resolving complex queries.
Collect data from diverse sources to analyze key themes and impacts on the business.
Document as-is and to-be processes and the changes required for migration.
Carry out feasibility and assessment work for proposed and current projects to develop business cases.
Assist collection of business requirements via interviews, document analysis, and workflow analysis.
