Job summary

Penta Consulting Ltd. is seeking a Senior Business Analyst to join a payments programme in Johannesburg. This contract role is for 10 months and offers hybrid work in Rosebank.

The candidate should have at least 7 years of business analysis experience, with focus on current/future state documentation and governance design. Preferred qualifications include CBAP or ECBA, and exposure to financial services, payments, or regulatory environments.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of business analysis experience with current/future-state process documentation.
• Experience in financial services, payments, regulatory or compliance is advantageous.
• Strong facilitation skills for workshops and stakeholder engagement.
• Experience in governance design and operating-model development is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support the Programme Manager and work-package leads with delivery coordination.
• Manage requirements and track dependencies across streams.
• Monitor critical paths and plan changes with impact analysis.
• Provide executive escalation support and governance reporting.
