About the Role

Seeking a seasoned Business Analyst with specialised expertise in Data Governance and Data Management to support ongoing public sector transformation. This role requires an individual who can seamlessly step into complex government frameworks, identify gaps, and collaborate on actionable strategies to advance knowledge and data governance across national and provincial spheres.

Key Responsibilities

Interpret and apply relevant framework documents within the public sector context

Understand and build on work already completed in data governance and knowledge management

Collaborate closely with senior managers to identify gaps, risks, and opportunities

Design and deliver a clear, forward-looking strategy and action plan

Unpack and align Knowledge Management strategies and directives from a national and provincial perspective

What We’re Looking For

A proven expert in Data Governance and Management – ideally with hands-on government experience

Strong analytical skills with a consultative mindset

Ability to navigate and influence within public sector structures

Clear communication and stakeholder engagement skills

Strategic thinker who can operationalise frameworks into tangible outcomes
