Job summary

Bestmed Medical Scheme in the Eastern Cape is seeking a Business Consultant in the Advisor Sales Channel Department. The role focuses on executing advisor training, support and relationship building to position Bestmed as the scheme of choice for intermediaries and their clients.

You will drive growth by recruiting brokers, expanding brokerages, and supporting membership growth; promote products and value, ensure brokers are informed on benefits, underwriting and compliance; provide ongoing

Qualifications

• Grade 12 with Mathematics or Maths Literacy (Mathematics symbol E or higher; Maths Literacy symbol C or higher).
• Diploma or Degree in Sales/Marketing/Business Management or Customer Relations.
• Minimum 4 years in sales/customer relationship management within the Financial Services Industry.
• Valid drivers license and own reliable vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain strong relationships with allocated brokers.
• Drive business growth by identifying new broker opportunities and recruiting brokerages.
• Support brokers in growing membership within their portfolios.
• Promote the scheme's products and value proposition in the market to attract and retain a healthy risk pool.
