Job summary

Sanlam Developing Markets (SDM) invites applications for an in-branch sales and service role. You will promote SRM products, provide sound financial advice, and manage client portfolios in a branch setting.

The role emphasises client service, appointment management, and cross-selling of value-added products while maintaining regulatory compliance and continuous development through CPD.

Qualifications

• 1-year experience in a sales or marketing capacity.
• Experience within insurance branches is advantageous.
• Matric (Grade 12) is required.
• RE5 advantageous.
• FAIS Compliant (Wealth Management) as per DOFA requirements.
• Class of Business training to be completed within 12 months of employment.

Responsibilities

• Promote SRM products and grow market share through sound financial advice.
• Provide high-level client service in a branch context and manage client profiles.
• Submit new business through the right channels and verify client details.
• Offer guidance to clients on product changes and portfolio options.
• Maintain compliance, CPD points, and record keeping.
• Report activities daily and meet weekly/monthly planning deadlines.
