Job summary

Sanlam Developing Markets (SDM) is seeking a Branch-based Financial Advisor to promote SRM products and provide excellent client service. You will advise clients on suitable solutions, cross-sell services, and manage customer portfolios while ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.

The role focuses on meeting daily appointments, attending to walk-ins, and maintaining strong client relationships through proactive communication and accurate record-keeping.

Qualifications

• Matric (Grade 12) is required.
• RE5 advantageous for improved progression.
• FAIS compliance (Wealth Management) as per DOFA requirements.
• Class of Business training to be completed within 12 months of employment.

Responsibilities

• Sales delivery in-branch.
• Understand SRM product ranges and customer needs.
• Provide suitable product recommendations and cross-sell value-added services.
• Update customers on new products and changes while documenting implications.
• Validate client details per regulatory requirements and submit new business.
• Conduct due diligence and manage risk for clients.
