Job summary

Sanlam Developing Markets [SDM] is seeking a Sales Consultant to promote SRM products, provide sound financial guidance, and service clients in-branch. You will build client relationships, cross-sell value-added products, and ensure regulatory compliance with DOFA/FAIS requirements.

You will maintain client profiles, manage NTUs, and contribute to planning, reporting, and performance targets within a branch setting in Bloemfontein.

Qualifications

• 1-year experience in a sales or marketing capacity.
• Experience within insurance branches is an advantage.
• Matric (Grade 12) is required.
• RE5 advantageous.
• FAIS Compliant (Wealth Management) per DOFA requirements.
• Class of Business training to be completed within 12 months of employment.

Responsibilities

• Promote SRM product ranges and increase market share through sound financial advice and high client service in a Branch context.
• Identify client needs and propose suitable product combinations to meet financial goals.
• Perform due diligence on clients to identify risks and ensure compliance with regulations.
• Manage client profiles, follow up on queries, and maintain ongoing client relationships in-branch.
• Record activities for reporting and decision making, and support monthly planning and reporting.
