FirstRand Bank Limited is hiring a Branch Advisor in a high-volume POP environment in Gauteng. You will deliver compliant, professional financial advice and assist existing clients with their transactional needs while educating them on the right channel.

The role emphasizes client relationships, FAIS and TCF compliance, and delivering on sales and service targets in a supportive team setting.

Qualifications

Minimum qualification: FAIS recognised NQF Level 5 certificate in banking, admin or customer service.
1-3 years of experience in customer-facing roles within financial services.
Strong FAIS, TCF and client-centric advice knowledge.

Responsibilities

Build and manage long-term client relationships to support retention and growth.
Provide a positive customer experience by being helpful and sensitive to transactional needs.
Educate customers to the correct banking platforms aligned with their needs.
Engage with customers in line with the bank's brand promise of how we can help.
Analyze client data to offer suitable financial advice and solutions per FAIS requirements.
Maintain accurate client records and documentation.
Achieve individual and branch sales and service targets.
Act ethically and take accountability for performance and development.
Show empathy to customers and stay updated on industry trends and product knowledge.
Manage leads, referrals and follow-ups within agreed timelines.
