Job summary

FirstRand Limited’s FNB Points of Presence in Bloemfontein seeks Branch Advisors to deliver compliant financial guidance in a high-volume branch. You will build relationships, educate clients, and drive service and sales targets.

This role requires Grade 12, FAIS/TCF awareness, and 1–3 years of customer-facing experience in financial services; you’ll join a supportive team with growth opportunities within the FirstRand Group.

Qualifications

• Grade 12 / NQF 4 qualification with FAIS/TCF awareness.
• Preferred: NQF 5 Certificate in Banking, Business Administration or related fields.
• 1–3 years of customer-facing experience in financial services.

Responsibilities

• Build and manage long-term client relationships to support retention and growth.
• Provide a positive customer experience by being helpful and responsive to transactional needs.
• Educate customers on the correct banking platform aligned with their needs.
• Make compliant, client-centric financial recommendations in line with FAIS requirements.
• Maintain accurate and complete client records and documentation.
• Achieve branch sales and service targets.
• Demonstrate ethical conduct and maintain high compliance awareness.
• Take accountability for personal development and performance.
• Manage leads, referrals, and client follow-ups within agreed timeframes.
