Job summary

Ovations Talent Sourcing is seeking an experienced BPM / Workflow Software Developer for a Sandton-based hybrid role. The contract runs for 12 months with a split of 3 days in the office and 2 days remote.

The candidate will translate designs into robust solutions, mentor other developers, and deliver BPMN/DMN modelling, workflow orchestration, and Camunda-based integrations across microservices and REST APIs.

Qualifications

• 5+ years' software development with Java 11+, Spring Boot, REST APIs, Microservices, JSON.
• 5+ years' experience in Business Process Analysis.
• Hands-on with IBM BPM/BAW or Camunda 7/8 (BPMN/DMN modelling, workflow orchestration).
• Experience with Kafka/Confluent and event streaming.
• Experience with Git and CI/CD, particularly Azure DevOps Pipelines.
• 2+ years' experience analysing processes and identifying automation opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Translate detailed designs into robust software solutions through programming and configuration.
• Provide guidance and mentoring to other developers.
• Collaborate on BPM/Workflow solutions across teams and ensure reliable deployments.
