Job summary

Fidelity Services Group seeks a finance professional to ensure financial policy compliance and contribute to the group’s financial well-being. The role focuses on GL reconciliations, journal postings, stock account reviews and accurate reporting.

Key duties include variance analysis, supplier communications, and timely SLA-compliant responses, with emphasis on Excel proficiency and SAP/Listener familiarity.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Financial Management.
• 3 years of analytical experience.
• SAP / Listener experience advantageous.
• Advanced Excel skills.
• Reliable car and valid driver’s licence.

Responsibilities

• Complete general ledger reconciliations.
• Complete monthly/weekly journals.
• Reconcile and review stock accounts from valuation to GL.
• Ensure all clearing accounts are balancing and cleared.
• Check subsidiary ledger batches before posting.
• Check admin documents captured into the system.
• Resolve queries within SLAs and provide feedback to suppliers/regions.
• Participate in ad-hoc projects as needed.
• Prepare Monthly Profit & Loss reporting.
• Analyse monthly variances and GL accounts.

Job Purpose

The overall purpose of this position is to ensure compliance with all Financial Policies and Procedures as well as ensuring that the Branch contributes to the financial well-being of the Group.

Minimum Requirements

• Suitable Bachelor’s Degree (Accounting / Financial Management) required
• 3 years of analytical experience
• SAP / Listener experience advantageous
• Advanced Excel
• Reliable car
• Valid driver’s licence

Job Specification

• Complete general ledger reconciliations;
• Complete monthly/weekly journals;
• Reconcile and review stock accounts from valuation to GL;
• Ensure all clearing accounts are balancing and cleared;
• Check subsidiary ledger batches before posting;
• Check admin documents captured into the system;
• Ensure resolution of queries within the agreed departmental/business unit SLAs;
• Provide telephonic & written communication (feedback) to suppliers and region as & when the queries are resolved;
• Participate in various ad-hoc projects where necessary
• Monthly Profit & Loss reporting
• Analysing monthly variances
• Analysing general ledger accounts
