- Technical Quality Control: Conduct strict stage-by-stage quality gate checks. Ensure body filler work, welding protocols, chassis straightness, and paint finishes meet flawless factory standards before a vehicle advances to the next department.
- Resource Allocation: Assign job cards to Panel Beaters, Spray Painters, and Assemblers based on the authorized scope of work and individual technician competencies to maximize workshop floor hours.
- Health & Safety Compliance: Strictly enforce Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) protocols, ensuring the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), clean extraction bays, and safe operation of frame machines and welding equipment.
- Supplemental Identification: Collaborate with Technicians and Estimators to quickly identify, document, and photograph hidden damage discovered during the stripping phase to submit supplemental claims immediately.
- Team Leadership & Discipline: Maintain strong floor discipline, monitor staff attendance, and resolve operational roadblocks quickly to foster a highly productive, focused working environment.
