Job summary

iqbusiness South Africa in Johannesburg seeks a finance, risk or governance leader to own quality, risk and governance across the service, ensuring independence and segregation-of-duties controls are designed, operated and evidenced.

You will report to boards and audit committees, run control testing, maintain risk registers, and support audits with complete evidence packs, while guiding all teams to stay within approved boundaries.

Qualifications

• CA(SA) or equivalent in risk, audit or compliance.
• 10+ years in finance, risk, audit or governance leadership, including in a regulated environment.
• Experience designing and testing controls, including segregation of duties.
• Experience reporting to boards, audit committees or regulators.

Responsibilities

• Own the control framework, policy and obligation register and the role-and-access matrices.
• Run control testing and report results to the client's risk and audit forums.
• Confirm that no process goes live until its controls, ownership and evidence route are in place.
• Chair the quality and risk forum and attend service governance forums.
