Placements24 is seeking a meticulous Blockchain Security Auditor to join our client’s security team in Benoni. You will identify vulnerabilities in smart contracts, dApps, and blockchain protocols, and provide actionable remediation guidance to developers and stakeholders.

You will conduct in-depth analyses, perform penetration testing, and stay current with threats and best practices to safeguard assets and maintain trust in the blockchain ecosystem.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Blockchain Security Auditor or related cybersecurity role.
• Deep knowledge of smart contract vulnerabilities (e.g., reentrancy, overflow).
• Experience analyzing Solidity, Vyper, or Rust code.
• Familiar with security analysis tools and testing methodologies.
• Solid understanding of cryptography and blockchain network security.
• Bachelor's degree in CS, Cybersecurity, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive security audits of smart contracts and dApps on various blockchain platforms.
• Perform penetration testing, vulnerability assessments, and code reviews to identify security flaws.
• Analyze blockchain protocols and network security for potential weaknesses and attack vectors.
