Placements24 is seeking a meticulous Blockchain Security Analyst to join our client in George on a hybrid basis. You will identify and mitigate security vulnerabilities across blockchain infrastructure and smart contracts, safeguarding digital assets and ensuring the integrity of decentralized platforms.

You will work with development teams to embed security best practices across the software lifecycle, conduct audits and pen tests, and monitor for emerging threats.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Security Analyst in blockchain.
• Knowledge of common smart contract vulnerabilities and mitigations.
• Experience with security auditing tools and methodologies.
• Strong analytical and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct security audits and penetration testing of smart contracts, dApps, and blockchain protocols.
• Analyze blockchain transactions and network activity to detect threats and exploits.
• Develop and implement security frameworks, policies, and best practices for blockchain development and operations.
• Monitor the blockchain ecosystem for emerging threats and vulnerabilities, providing timely intelligence and recommendations.
• Collaborate with development teams to remediate security issues and enhance security posture.
• Investigate security incidents, perform root cause analysis, and document findings and mitigations.
