This fully remote role focuses on designing and optimizing core blockchain protocols from anywhere in the world, with emphasis on cryptography, distributed systems, and low-level engineering.

The ideal candidate has a strong research background, 6+ years in related fields, and proficiency in Rust, C++, or Go.

• Advanced degree (Master's or PhD) in CS, Cryptography, or related field, or equivalent research experience.
• 6+ years in systems programming, distributed systems, or blockchain protocol development.
• Expertise in low-level languages (Rust, C++, Go) and systems design.
• Deep understanding of cryptography, network protocols, and consensus mechanisms (PoW, PoS, BFT).
• Proven ability to design and implement complex, high-performance systems.
• Experience with performance analysis and optimization techniques.
• Strong mathematical and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, especially in a remote setting.
• Experience with formal verification or mathematical proofs is a plus.
