Placements24 is seeking a highly skilled Remote Blockchain Engineer to join a globally distributed team. You will design and implement smart contracts, dApps, and core blockchain infrastructure, working from home with colleagues across time zones.

Ideal candidates have hands-on experience with Go, Rust, Node.js, Python, or Solidity, and a solid understanding of cryptography and consensus mechanisms. You will engage in architecture discussions, code reviews, and tackle complex distributed systems

Qualifications

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Blockchain Engineer , Software Engineer, or similar role, with a strong focus on blockchain development.
• Proficiency in one or more relevant programming languages (e.g., Go, Rust, Node.js, Python, Solidity).
• Experience developing and deploying smart contracts and dApps.
• Solid understanding of blockchain principles, cryptography, and consensus mechanisms.
• Experience with decentralized storage solutions (e.g., IPFS) and oracles is a plus.
• Familiarity with distributed systems and cloud infrastructure (e.g., AWS, GCP, Azure).
• Excellent communication skills and proven ability to work effectively in a remote, collaborative environment.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to challenges.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
