Job summary

Placements24 in Welkom is looking for a Blockchain Software Engineer to design, develop, and maintain robust blockchain applications and smart contracts. You will join a mission-driven team in an office-based environment, contributing to high-impact crypto projects.

You will work on Solidity smart contracts, dApps, backend services, and APIs, collaborating with product managers and engineers to translate complex requirements into scalable technical solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS, Engineering, or related field.
• 2+ years software development experience, with at least 1 year in blockchain.

Responsibilities

• Develop, test, and deploy smart contracts on platforms like Ethereum or Binance Smart Chain.
• Build and maintain dApps and backend services that interact with blockchain networks.
• Integrate blockchain with existing enterprise systems and third‑party APIs.
• Collaborate with product managers and engineers to define requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Write clean, well-documented code following best practices for blockchain development.
• Participate in code reviews, performance optimization, and security analysis.
