Omnia Group in Northern Cape, Mamatwan, South Africa, seeks a Blaster to lead open-pit blasting operations. You will prepare and execute blasts in line with SHERQ requirements, ensuring safety and operational efficiency on site.
Minimum 2 years blasting experience and a valid Blasting Ticket are essential; Code B licence is preferred. You will work with blasting assistants and respond to on-site challenges, driving safe, productive outcomes.

To ensure that all the prescribed duties are carried out in preparation for a blast, performing the blast and concluding postblasting tasks, in line with all statutory, legal and BME SHERQ requirements. And to ensure that all excess accessories afterthe blast are recorded and to be destroyed according to the relevant mine standards at a place designated by the minemanager.
