Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a highly skilled Biostatistician to contribute to pharmaceutical research and development, supporting remote and on-site work from the Upington area. You will design SAPs, perform complex analyses, and interpret results from clinical trials in collaboration with clinical scientists, data managers, and medical writers.

Qualifications

• Master's or Ph.D. in Biostatistics, Statistics, or a related quantitative field.
• Proven experience as a Biostatistician in the pharmaceutical/biotech industry with trial design knowledge.
• Proficiency in SAS or R.
• In-depth knowledge of methodologies relevant to drug development and regulatory requirements.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Design SAPs for clinical trials and studies with clinical teams.
• Perform statistical analyses of trial data using SAS, R, or SPSS.
• Interpret results and prepare tables, figures, and listings for submissions/publications.
• Provide statistical input into study protocols, CRFs, and database design.
• Ensure methodologies meet regulatory requirements and best practices.
• Validate statistical programs and outputs for accuracy and reproducibility.
• Communicate findings clearly to diverse audiences.
