Qualifications

• Master's or Ph.D. in Biostatistics, Statistics, or a related quantitative field.
• Proven experience as a Biostatistician in the pharmaceutical/biotech industry with trial design knowledge.
• Proficiency in SAS or R.
• In-depth knowledge of methodologies relevant to drug development and regulatory requirements.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

About the Role

Our client is seeking a highly skilled Biostatistician to contribute to their pharmaceutical research and development efforts, supporting remote and on-site work from the Upington area. This critical role involves designing statistical analysis plans, performing complex data analysis, and interpreting results from clinical trials and other research studies. You will collaborate closely with clinical scientists, data managers, and medical writers to ensure the integrity and validity of research findings, ultimately contributing to the development of new therapies. Key Responsibilities

• Design statistical analysis plans (SAPs) for clinical trials and research studies in collaboration with clinical teams.
• Perform statistical analyses of clinical trial data using statistical software packages (e.g., SAS, R, SPSS).
• Interpret analysis results and prepare statistical reports, tables, figures, and listings for regulatory submissions and publications.
• Provide statistical input into study protocols, case report forms (CRFs), and database design.
• Ensure statistical methodologies and analyses comply with regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
• Validate statistical programs and outputs to ensure accuracy and reproducibility.
