Job summary

Lotus Recruitment is seeking a BIM Coordinator with a tertiary qualification in structural engineering/architecture/electrical or mechanical engineering and 3–5 years of experience in Navisworks and Revit 3D modelling with BIM 360. The role focuses on coordinating BIM data, improving workflows and data transfer processes for medium to large-scale projects.

You will lead BIM tool adoption, manage BIM datasets, ensure compliance with BIM standards, and coordinate across disciplines from design

Qualifications

• Experience creating workflows for data transfer/storage, implementing efficiencies and planning.

• BIM Coordination and daily management of BIM project data sets/workflows and project set up.
• Working experience in 3D modelling with Revit and Navisworks.
• Support/lead the adoption of BIM tools and processes at the regional and project level.
• Technical management of project BIM data sets; solid understanding of BIM processes, standards and construction processes across project lifecycle.
• Coordination of models and management of supporting software for BIM on projects.
• Oversee the implementation of CAD and BIM on new projects.
• Assist project team with setup/utilization of NavisWorks as a design review/clash tool.

Job description

KEY REQUIREMENTS TO MEET FOR CONSIDERATION:

You will have completed a tertiary qualification in structural engineering/architecture/electrical or mechanical engineering, coupled with 3-5 years experience in Navisworks and Revit 3D modelling and BIM 360, working on medium to large scale projects, creating workflows with regards to the transfer and storage of data, implementing efficiencies and planning effectively.

In addition, you will have proven experience in the following:

• BIM Coordination and daily management of BIM project data sets/workflows and project set up.
• Working experience in 3D modelling with the use of multiple software systems including Revit and Navisworks
• Support/lead the adoption of BIM tools and processes at the regional and project level Technical management of project BIM data sets Demonstrating a solid understanding of BIM processes, standards and construction processes across all stages of the project lifecycle Extensive knowledge of BIM platforms and Coordination of models Manage supporting software for BIM for project.
• Oversee the implementation of CAD and BIM on new projects Assist project team with setup/utilization of NavisWorks as a design review/clash tool

You will have strong working knowledge of construction standards, specifically related to quality management and be an effective problem solver. Proven experience in a multi-disciplinary construction company is essential. You will have a high level of numeracy, be analytical, communicate effectively and have excellent organizational and multi-task skills. You will have a list of contactable reference, a clear credit and criminal record, as well as a unendorsed drivers license.
