Job summary

Shift Pursuit is seeking an experienced BIM Coordinator to join our Bellville studio. You will own BIM coordination, digital workflows and model quality, collaborating with project teams and the Director of Operations to implement BIM processes and adopt emerging technologies.

You will lead model health audits, template development, and technical training while advancing BIM standards and governance across the practice.

Qualifications

• National Diploma or Degree in Architecture.
• Minimum 5 years post-qualification experience.
• Extensive experience with Revit, Autodesk Suite and BIM tools.
• Experience implementing BIM processes.
• Dynamo experience will be advantageous.
• Strong experience coordinating multidisciplinary BIM models.
• Experience with BIM standards, digital governance and model quality control.
• Experience with clash detection and resolving model coordination issues.
• Experience developing BIM content, including families and templates.
• Experience providing technical support and training to architectural teams.
• Experience with as-built models and point cloud data will be advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate BIM requirements and standards across project teams.
• Manage multidisciplinary model coordination and identify clashes and issues.
• Conduct model health audits and implement QA processes.
• Support teams with Revit drawing production and model development.
• Develop and maintain BIM libraries, families and templates.
• Provide technical support and training on BIM workflows.
• Assist with AI, automation and emerging architectural technologies.
• Research and test new digital tools to improve studio efficiency.
• Mentor junior team members and promote BIM best practices.
