Job summary

C3 Resource Investments (Pty) Ltd is seeking an experienced BIM Coordinator to support model integration, clash detection, and BIM/CAD standards compliance across multidisciplinary projects. You will work closely with the BIM Manager and engineering teams to deliver accurate and coordinated 3D models.

Ideal candidates bring a strong background in structural and mechanical drafting, plus hands-on experience with Revit, Navisworks, and Plant 3D to drive quality control and efficient information

Qualifications

• Technical Draughting Certificate from a recognised institution.
• Minimum 5 years' experience in structural and mechanical draughting.
• Experience in BIM coordination, multidisciplinary 3D modelling and clash detection.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and integrate 3D models across Mechanical, Civil, Structural, Process and EC&I engineering disciplines.
• Perform clash detection, model reviews and coordination checks using Autodesk Navisworks and other approved software.
• Identify, record and track design clashes and model inconsistencies through to resolution.
• Support implementation of BIM standards, templates, workflows and BIM Execution Plans (BEPs).
• Conduct model quality checks and ensure compliance with project specifications and documentation requirements.
• Coordinate model exchanges, revisions and information management within the Common Data Environment (CDE).
• Provide practical BIM/CAD software support and guidance to engineers and draughting teams.
• Assist with model-based deliverables, project reviews and handover documentation.
