About the Role

Our client, a leading architectural practice situated in Paarl, Western Cape , is seeking a dedicated BIM Coordinator to enhance their digital design capabilities. This role is integral to ensuring the efficient and accurate implementation of Building Information Modeling (BIM) across all projects. You will work closely with architects, technologists, and engineers to maintain model integrity and facilitate seamless collaboration. Key Responsibilities

• Implement and manage BIM protocols and standards within the office and on specific projects.
• Coordinate and integrate models from various disciplines (architectural, structural, MEP) to identify and resolve clashes.
• Develop and maintain project BIM execution plans (BEPs).
• Provide technical support and training to project teams on BIM software and workflows.
• Ensure the quality and consistency of BIM data and deliverables.
• Collaborate with project teams to optimize BIM workflows for efficiency and accuracy.

Requirements

• A qualification in Architecture, Architectural Technology, or a related field, with a strong focus on BIM.
• Minimum of 4 years of experience in a BIM-focused role within an architectural or engineering practice.
• Expert proficiency in Revit and a solid understanding of its collaborative features.
• Experience with Navisworks for clash detection and model aggregation is essential.
• Familiarity with South African building information modeling standards and practices.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to train and support diverse teams.
