Placements24 is seeking a highly proficient BIM Architect for a remote role based in Rustenburg, North West. The candidate will drive BIM adoption, develop standards, workflows and templates, and train design teams.

About the Role

Our client, an innovative architectural firm with a strong presence in Rustenburg, North West , is actively seeking a highly proficient BIM Architect to join their expanding team. This role is crucial for driving the adoption and effective implementation of Building Information Modeling (BIM) across all project phases. You will be responsible for developing BIM standards, workflows, and templates, and providing technical support and training to the design and documentation teams. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of BIM principles, advanced modeling techniques, and a passion for leveraging technology to enhance architectural design and project delivery. This remote position allows you to contribute to impactful projects from the comfort of your home, while being part of a forward-thinking practice in Rustenburg, North West .

Key Responsibilities

Requirements

• Expert proficiency in Revit and a strong understanding of other BIM software and related technologies (e.g., Navisworks, Dynamo).
• Proven experience in developing and managing BIM execution plans (BEPs).
• Excellent understanding of architectural design principles and construction processes.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for detail.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to train and mentor others.
• Experience working remotely and managing projects across different locations.
• Familiarity with South African building codes and standards is a plus.
