GAP Consulting is seeking an experienced Senior Bookkeeper in George, Western Cape. The ideal candidate will manage multi‑company bookkeeping, ensure accurate trial balance, and perform bank reconciliations, debtors, creditors, VAT201, and EMP201 filings.

Requirements include a bookkeeping qualification or accounting diploma, 10+ years in the field, proficiency in Pastel, MS Excel, MS Word, and fluency in Afrikaans and English. A valid licence and transport are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years’ experience as a Senior Bookkeeper in the Property, Fuel Retail, or Accounting Industry.
• Bookkeeping qualification or Accounting Diploma required.
• Proficient in Pastel, MS Excel, MS Word.
• Strong knowledge of full-function bookkeeping up to Trial Balance, Bank Reconciliations, Debtors, Creditors, VAT201, EMP201.
• Experience in multi-company bookkeeping and high-volume transaction processing beneficial.
• Must be bilingual in Afrikaans and English.
• Valid Driver's Licence and own transport.
• Contactable references and payslips required.
