Job summary

Amazon is looking for an Incident Management Engineer (Portuguese/English bilingual) to join the AWS Incident Detection and Response team. You will drive incident resolution for mission-critical workloads, lead cross-functional calls, and coordinate with engineering to minimize customer impact.

This global role requires strong communication and a track record in Major Incident/Problem Management, with 2+ years in tech support or 3+ years in engineering.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of technical support, or 3+ years of systems engineering experience.
• 3+ years demonstrable Major Incident / Problem Manager experience for mission-critical applications.
• Excellent written and verbal communication for customers and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Drive the resolution of large-scale customer-impacting incidents as part of a team rotation.
• Lead critical, complex customer escalations in coordination with Engineering Teams.
• Provide incident response/management for customer workloads, including leading calls with participants.
• Contribute to Problem Records and create/review documentation and SOPs.
