S-RM Intelligence and Risk Consulting in Cape Town seeks a German-speaking Engagement Lead for its Cyber Incident Response team. You will lead incident response efforts, coordinate a multidisciplinary group of experts, and manage client relationships to deliver timely, effective cyber threat remediation.

The role requires DFIR experience, strong consulting skills, and the ability to operate under pressure while guiding clients through crises.

Qualifications

• Native or professional fluency in German.
• A calm and empathetic style under pressure.
• A thoughtful approach to solving problems.
• Experience in digital forensics and incident response (DFIR).
• Ability to coordinate diverse expert teams during incidents.

Responsibilities

• Project scoping: triage calls with clients to understand incident scope and required support.
• Project management: ensure response is on track, within budget and schedule.
• Overseeing forensic analysts investigating the incident.
• Advising on response strategies to cyber threat actors.
• Providing crisis management expertise to guide clients.
• Relationship management with victims, lawyers and insurers.
